R & D Center of Sae Han Tungsten Co.,Ltd was established in April 2004. Its capable and excellent engineers are now doing their best to develop new products which have an international level of competitiveness by means of the high-tech technology leading a global era and to contribute to the development and prosperity of Korea's and world's lighting industry.
 
 

Its yearly R & D investment which is over 5% of the turnover and its capable researchers and engineers are a motive power and force which led to the current development of Sae Han Tungsten Co., Ltd as a supplier of parts of bulbs and lamps in the world lighting industry.
 

R & D Center will make a creative research and endless R & D investment without interruption. It will make every effort to have its own technology in oder to win in the current unlimited competitive world market. It is now challenging the development of future industry by developing a new lighting sources. It developed energy saving & high-efficiency tungsten filaments. It invented an automatic sleeved-tungsten-filament making machine through an automatic shaping of protective tube at the leg parts of tungsten sleeved filaments. It also developed equipment which dissolves molybdenum wire from tungsten filaments without environmental pollution by using H2O2. It has been participating in R & D projects financially supported by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of the Government which is called " R & D project in development of parts-sources in relation to new frontier of the 21st century".
